The flute is a member of a family of musical instruments in the woodwind group. Like all woodwinds, flutes are aerophones, producing sound with a vibrating column of air. Unlike woodwind instruments with reeds, a flute produces sound when the player’s air flows across an opening.

Drum
A Drum-Kit is a collection of percussive surfaces such as cymbals, toms, hi-hats, snare, bass drum. The drum-kit is the most commonly used percussion instrument in many western music styles including pop, rock, funk, metal, etc. Playing this instrument requires the coordination of all four limbs. This course is sequenced in a way that is incremental in skill level and helps the students develop into knowledgeable percussionists.

Sitar
Sitar, a variant of ancient string instrument Veena, developed into its present form in 18th century. It has become one of the most popular string-plucked instrument in India & abroad. Its resonance is the result of its gourd, 7+13 strings. This course is affiliated with Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal.
