Confidentiality Policy: Suresh Wadkar's Ajivasan Academy of Music, Dance & Art

At Ajivasan, we handle sensitive information ranging from proprietary teaching techniques to student personal data. Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality is essential to our reputation and the trust placed in us by our community.

1. Scope of Confidential Information

"Confidential Information" refers to any non-public information related to the Academy, including but not limited to:

  • Student & Parent Records: Contact details, financial history, and progress reports stored in MCB.
  • Curriculum & Pedagogy: Unique teaching methodologies, syllabus for the Professional Course for Singers, and unreleased theory notes.
  • Media Assets: Unreleased audio/video recordings of students, faculty, or performances (e.g., ACT event rehearsals).

2. Technical & Digital Confidentiality

  • MCB Access: Access to the "My Classboard" (MCB) website is granted based on necessity. Users must not attempt to access areas beyond their authorized scope.
  • Data Minimization: Staff only access student data required to perform their specific duties (e.g., a teacher viewing only their specific batch details).

3. Student & Parent Obligations

By enrolling, students and parents agree to:

  • Privacy of the Classroom: Respect the privacy of fellow students. Recording of online or offline classes without explicit written permission from management is strictly prohibited.
  • Proprietary Materials: Course materials, books, and digital resources are for personal educational use only. They may not be photocopied, uploaded, or redistributed.
  • Digital Security: Login credentials for the Ajivasan App and MCB must not be shared. If you lose access or suspect a breach, notify the help-desk department immediately.

4. Intellectual Property (IP)

Any musical arrangements, compositions, or educational content created by employees during their tenure at Ajivasan remains the exclusive intellectual property of the Academy unless otherwise stated in a written contract.

5. Breach of Policy

Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information is considered a serious disciplinary matter.

  • For Students: Violation of this policy may result in immediate cancellation of enrollment without a refund.
