Student Music Class Terms & Conditions

Offline & Online Music Classes — Suresh Wadkar's Ajivasan Music & Dance Academy

"A Guru passes on his knowledge of music to the disciples, hoping that they learn to live the art". At Ajivasan, we follow this mantra to create an everlasting essence of music.

Branch & Online Group Class Operations

• Students pay 1 month's fee in advance.
• The fee cycle begins on the 1st of every month.
• Please visit our website to know the fee structure for registration, courses, levels & books.

Online Private Class Operations

• A student pays fees for 4 classes (or multiples of 4 classes) in advance as per the plan they have chosen.
• A student can choose as many classes (in multiples of 4) and courses in a week as he/she wants, depending on his/her acceptance of the fee and the availability of the teachers.

Home Tuition Class Operations

• A student pays fees for 4 classes (or multiples of 4 classes) in advance as per the plan they have chosen.
• A student can choose as many classes (in multiples of 4) and courses in a week as he/she wants, depending on his/her acceptance of fees and the availability of the teachers.

Gap in Learning or Opting Out

• Every student needs to maintain a minimum of 80% attendance.
• Though students are allowed to take leave as per their will, in case the leaves are very frequent and happen for a considerable duration, the teacher may instruct the student to join a lower-level batch.
• Students who are absent for over 45 days in continuation will have to take readmission in the academy by paying the registration fee again.
• Fees once paid are not refundable, and hence a student will not be refunded the fees in case he/she needs a refund against not attending any class.
• In the whole calendar year, a student is allowed to take a one-month (30-day) break without paying any fee. This break cannot be taken in parts & nor can it be forwarded to the next year. To attain this leave and its fee waiver, students have to inform their Helpdesk Executive through email prior to taking a break and get an approval in writing.
• If there is any medical emergency, a medical certificate along with information should be provided to your helpdesk executive within 15 days from the date of the emergency, to avoid the re-registration fee.

Course Material & Copyright Content

• Books for Trinity Courses & Hindustani Classical Vocals can be bought from the Ajivasan Shop.
• Distribution of Ajivasan's book content is unauthorized, and it can lead to legal penalties if the student is found responsible for distributing the company's authorized content.

Level Completion and Admission

• All students have to re-register by paying a registration fee upon level change across all courses.
• After completion of every level, students will pay the book fee for the next level study material if it is applicable to the course they are learning.

Fees & Discounts

• Students who pay 1 yearly advance fee will receive a discount of 1 month's fee on their total fee amount.
• Students can refer their friends and family for the classes every month and avail of a 10% to 100% discount on their next monthly fee. Connect with your helpdesk executive to know more. (This discount can be availed only after joining the academy and not while joining the academy.)
• At one time (for that particular month), only 1 discount offer can be applied by students.
• No family/group enrollment discounts are applicable.
• Students' entry to the classroom may be restricted if the full month's payment is not made in advance.
• Ajivasan's fee structures are prone to inflation rate and economic changes in the country, and therefore, fee changes annually or once in 2 years are possible from the management side.
• Fees will be accepted through the online Ajivasan App only. We do not accept payment through any other application.

No Refund

• Under any circumstances/conditions, monthly fees are not refundable or transferable. Absence of students is not valid for any compensation class or refund of the fee.
• The compensation for canceled classes (if any) will occur as instructed by the Academy's Management.
• The classes canceled due to natural calamities such as extensive rains, floods, earthquakes, etc, are non-refundable and will not be compensated by teachers.
• Students who wish to shift from offline learning to online learning will have to send an email to info@ajivasan.com. Only after an email confirmation reply, post discussion with the senior management, the shifting of students will be considered valid.
