Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By enrolling as a student at Ajivasan Academy Of Performing Arts (AAPA), you agree to abide by all the rules and policies outlined on this page.

Student's Policy: Ajivasan Academy Of Performing Arts (AAPA)

Dear Students, Cheers to new beginnings! We are very happy to have you as a part of our academy. At AAPA, we strive to maintain the highest standards of discipline, professionalism, and dedication to music education.

In order to maintain the discipline in the academy, following are some guidelines that will have to be followed by every student:

1. Class Schedule & Attendance

  • Rescheduling: Rescheduling of classes will be done only as per the teacher's availability. Students cannot demand changes for personal convenience.
  • Mandatory Attendance: A minimum of 85% attendance is mandatory for successful course completion and eligibility for certification.
  • Missed Lessons: If a student is absent, it is their responsibility to catch up on missed topics. Teachers are not obligated to repeat missed lessons separately.

2. Fees & Payments

  • Advance Payment: All course fees must be paid in advance as per the payment schedule provided.
  • Late Penalty: Delayed payments will attract a penalty of ₹5,000/- plus taxes per month.
  • Refund Policy: Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • Class Access: Students will not be allowed to attend classes if fees are pending beyond the due date.

3. Documentation & Student ID

  • Required Documents: After admission, students must submit a passport-size photograph and a government-approved ID proof (Aadhaar/Passport/Driving License) for ID card creation.
  • Identification: Students have to compulsorily carry ID cards at all times within the academy premises.

4. Assignments & Practice

  • Deadlines: Students must complete all assignments, projects, and practice logs within the given deadlines.
  • Submission: Regular submission of practice projects (weekly or monthly, as directed by faculty) is compulsory for progress evaluation.
  • Certification Risk: Failure to submit assignments may result in disqualification from certification.

5. Campus Rules & Conduct

  • Behavior: Students must maintain discipline, punctuality, and respect towards teachers, staff, and fellow students.
  • Visitors: Outsiders are strictly not allowed inside classrooms or studios without prior written approval.
  • Prohibited Items: Food, drinks, chewing gums, etc. are not allowed in classrooms, practice rooms, or studios.
  • Mobile Phones: Mobile phones must be on silent mode during class. Using phones for non-academic purposes is prohibited.
  • Required Gear: Students are required to bring their own headphones and necessary stationery for every class.

6. Studio & Classroom Booking & Usage

  • Booking Process: All bookings for the Music Lab / studio must be made through the official Google Form provided to students.
  • Allocation: Allocation of the Music Lab / studio will be subject to availability.
  • Priority: In case of duplicate requests for the same workstation, priority is given to the first submission or an alternate vacant setup will be allotted.
  • Equipment Care: Students are responsible for handling instruments and equipment carefully. Any damage due to negligence will be chargeable to the student.

7. Events & Performances

  • Music Production Students: Entry will be free for all academy events except Vasantotsav & Ajivasan ACT.
  • Special Events: For Vasantotsav & Ajivasan ACT, students may purchase tickets and attend as audience members. No free passes, concessions, or complimentary entries will be provided.

8. Professional Behaviour & General Policies

  • Seriousness: Students are expected to maintain a serious and professional approach towards classes.
  • Disciplinary Action: Frequent absenteeism, lack of seriousness, or disruptive behavior may lead to suspension or termination from the course without a refund.
  • Certification Standards: The academy reserves the right to deny certification to students who do not meet academic or behavioral standards.
  • Rule Updates: The Academy reserves the right to update or modify rules at any time.
  • Final Authority: In case of any disputes, the decision of Ajivasan's management will be final and binding.
