16 Day Indian Classical Vocals:

Highlights:

  • Course Duration - 2 months
  • Session - 16 session (Two sessions a week)
  • Class Duration - 1 hour each.
  • Day 1 - 8: A brief but insightful introduction to the classical odyssey. Discuss role of breath while singing. Introduce the 7 swaras (notes) in aroha and avaroha format. Will address oral positioning and basic projection. Focus on the concept of Raag.
  • Day 9 - 16: Will focus on Alaaps in Raag. Teach some light songs in that particular Raag. Individual assessment.

16 Day Bollywood Vocals:

  • Day 1 - 8: We will address the role of breath breathing techniques and mouth position while singing. Will focus on vocal warm up exercises with chromatic notes. Discuss your strengths and we will advise you on how to work on your weakness.
  • Day 9 - 16: We will address popular songs from films (old and new) , Ghazals and Bhajans. Also share basic details on Studio technique.

16 Day Western Vocals:

  • Day 1 - 4: Introduction to Solfege and it’s patterns, breathing and vocal techniques for better control of voice, 2 introductory songs.

  • Day 11 - 16: Stage performance skills, focus on facial and vocal expressions, song presentation, karaoke training, 2 advanced songs with Karaoke.

  • Day 13 - 16: Learn Slides/Glides/Ball change Twist/ Six step / Helicopter Moonwalk, side walk & amp; Modern Hiphop. 1 complete song of 1:30 minutes approx.

  • Day 1 - 4: Introduction to bollywood dance style, will include all basics of bollywood steps (with complete one song of 1:30mins)
  • Day 5 - 8: Introduction to Swag dance style, understand the beats and swag body movements (With complete 1 song of 1:30mins )
  • Day 9 - 12: Combination of both styles together Bollywood + Swag = Bollyswag with more of intermediate moves (With complete 1 song )
  • Day 13 - 16: These sessions will be covered with advance training to the entire style. With more speed track songs to understand the dance on the next level.

16 Day Guitar:

Highlights:

  • Course Duration - 2 months
  • Session - 16 session (Two sessions a week)
  • Class Duration - 1 hour each.
  • Day 1 - 4: Physical parts of the guitar, Holding a guitar properly (sitting/standing), holding a pick properly, basics of stringing and tuning a guitar. Alternate, back and forth strumming of open strings, Picking of open strings and single notes and some basic chords. Open notes of each string in standard tuning. Notes of the fretboard (first 12 frets) for all six strings, Identifying notes as you play.
  • Day 5 - 10: Basic open chords, basic power chords, chord polishing tactics and proper chord finger positioning. Work on chords that are problematic, particularly if there are buzzing or mutednotes that aren’t ringing clearly. Start on very simple and slow chord progressions. Major chords, Minor chords, Major and minor third intervals and Barre chord shapes.
  • Day 10 - 16: Work on songs and perhaps try strumming chords with a metronome. Root notes and basic scales. Memorize short, basic scale shapes Work on simple lead segments and melodies from familiar songs.
